Gilmore Audiology opened it’s doors on April 4, 2016. The owner and audiologist, Dr. Terri Gilmore, may be a familiar name because, until March 31, 2016, she was the audiologist for Crawford & Fitch – ENT for almost 14 years.
Although the location is new, patients will find that the sevices will be what they have come to expect but with shorter wait times. This is due to the fact that Dr. Gilmore’s schedule will revolve solely around her patients whereas, while at the ENT office, her schedule was dependent on that of the other doctors.
In addition, at Gilmore Audiology, patients can look forward to Care Credit financing being accepted. Care Credit is a type of health care credit card so, instead of paying in full at the time of service, patients can make payments to Care Credit.
Another change is insurance participation. Medicare is the only insurance accepted but non-Medicare patients will find that office charges for hearing testing will be similar, and possibly less expensive, to that of a copay or deductible.
